Hello, St. Clement parishioners & friends!

🌹 The nine-day novena for Our Lady of Guadalupe – a festive, prayerful, and beautiful collection of liturgies, gatherings, and decor – culminated yesterday starting in the morning with Mañanitas, Rosary, Mass, and breakfast and ending at night with rosary, Mass, danzantes, and dinner. Thanks to all who contributed to and participated in the celebration!

Announcements

This is the last weekend of RE classes for 2024. Classes will resume on Wednesday 8 Jan and Sunday 12 Jan.
2025 offertory envelopes are available in the church foyer.
This week, the parish completed significant repairs to the building’s plumbing. Please help us maintain the full functioning of the system by ONLY flushing toilet paper. Everything else – including paper towels – needs to be disposed of in the trash.
The holiday liturgy schedule (Christmas and Mary, Mother of God) is available on the parish website.

Confession Opportunities

Starting at 6:30pm this coming Tuesday 17 Dec evening, there will be multiple priests available to hear confessions in either Spanish or English.

Bilingual confessions are also available every Thursday evening from 7 to 8pm and Saturday afternoons from 4pm to 4:50.

Jubilee

The Jubilee Year of Hope opens in Rome on Christmas Eve 2024 and will include a host of liturgies, prayers, and gatherings around the world. Jubilee festivities in the Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma will begin with a procession in downtown Tulsa at 2pm on Sunday 29 Dec. Our diocese will have 12 parish pilgrimages, one per month, each with a specific theme. The first pilgrimage will occur on Saturday, 4 Jan 2025, at St. Francis Xavier in Tulsa. The theme is Peace and Unity: Victims of War and End to Violence. This newsletter will have more information about the Jubilee in future dispatches.

Pilgrim’s Passports will be available in the church foyer.
