Hello, St. Clement parishioners & friends!
Last weekend we celebrated those who volunteer their time and talent for the good of St. Clement parish. Thank you all so much for your service!
💦 This weekend the Christmas season comes to a close as we celebrate the Baptism of the Lord. Why was Jesus baptized? What does that mean for us? Here are two articles that shed some light on this feast:
🗓️ Current and aspiring altar servers: plan to attend the training on Sat 25 Jan at 10am.
Becoming an altar server is a meaningful way for young people to grow in their faith, deepen their connection to the Church, and serve others. As an altar server, you are not only assisting the priest during Mass but also participating in a sacred and important role that helps lead the community in worship.
It’s a chance to learn about the liturgy, grow in responsibility, and feel the joy of contributing to the Church. By serving at the altar, young people can strengthen their prayer life, build a sense of community, and develop a personal relationship with Christ.
If you're looking for a way to become more involved, discover a deeper purpose, and be an example for others, consider becoming an altar server. Your service is an offering to God, and it's a beautiful opportunity to grow spiritually while supporting the Mass.
♥️ Valentine Social Sat 8 Feb
Dear Parishioners,
As we approach our special Valentine Social on Sat 8 Feb, we are excited to offer a silent auction filled with wonderful gifts and services to support our parish community. We are reaching out to you, our beloved parishioners, to help make this event a success by donating your talents, skills, or services for the auction.
Your generous contribution could be anything from a homemade quilt, art, or photography session to a day of professional services like car detailing, cleaning, tutoring, or event planning. No donation is too small, and every bit of help adds to the richness of our community.
This event is a beautiful opportunity to celebrate love, fellowship, and generosity, all while supporting our parish’s mission. Your donation will make a meaningful difference in our efforts to raise funds for our youth group.
