Thanks to the winter weather, a few events have been rescheduled. Read on for details!
Dates to note:
- Sun 23 Feb at 9:30am: First Communion parent meeting in the church
- Wed 26 Feb at 6:30pm: Confirmation parent meeting in the church
- Fri 28 Feb: last day to stop online contributions via WeShare. St. Clement now uses Flocknote. Click here to set up online giving that way.
- Sat 1 Mar: 10am Mass at St. Joseph Vietnamese Parish, 14905 E. 21st St. S., Tulsa, for the Jubilee Year of Hope. The theme is Culture of Life – Those with Disabilities.
- Ash Wednesday 5 Mar: Mass in English at 8:30am and 6pm; distribution of ashes at noon; Misa en español at 7:30pm
- Fri 7 Mar: Stations of the Cross in English at 6pm; Lenten meal at 6:30pm; Stations of the Cross en español at 7pm
- Sat 29 Mar: Date rescheduled for the St Clement Confirmation group to volunteer at Catholic Charities Kitchen
Calvary Cemetery representative at Mass this weekend
Just as we celebrate the sacrament of Baptism in a church when we enter parish life, the burial rite celebrated in a Catholic cemetery completes that tradition. As Catholics, we believe in the dignity of each person, the importance of Baptism, the reality of the resurrection of Jesus, the promise of eternal life, and the celebration of the Eucharist as the great act of thanksgiving for redemption.
Located on consecrated land, Calvary Cemetery offers a place of quiet reflection. The cemetery is responsible for completing the sacred task of burial or entombment and respectfully maintaining the burial site for future generations.
When you choose a Catholic cemetery, you are laid to rest with people who share the same traditions and heritage. Moreover, giving your loved ones a proper burial is a corporal work of mercy and an act of love. James Aitchison, who works in preplanning and community outreach for our diocesan cemetery, will be visiting St. Clement this weekend. He will have an information and education table. Faith & Works Annual Appeal
Our Faith & Works Annual Appeal is on Sunday, March 2nd. You should have already received a letter asking for your pledge in the mail. If you haven’t pledged, you will have the opportunity to donate next Sunday here at Mass. Whether you’ve given in the past, or you’d be a first-time giver, we ask that you give prayerful consideration to donating this year. Our church family is much bigger than our parish. It’s really up to all of us to help provide the 78 parishes and 2 missions in Eastern Oklahoma including St. Clement with the services and ministry resources that no single parish could provide for itself. It’s also important to remember that many of these services we benefit from throughout the year. Some of the expanding ministries of the Diocese are the ministry activities in the rural areas, revitalization of our Faith Formation Conference, The Well (formerly known as Sing Praise) events, the Alcuin Institute for Catholic Culture, a full-time Director of Child and Youth Protection, our full-time Director of Vocations, and much more. Please join next weekend in helping our faith go further by making a pledge to the Faith & Works Annual Appeal.

Deacon Neal Harton is scheduled to have shoulder replacement surgery next Friday 28 Feb. Please keep him and his care team in your prayers. He will be out several months in recovery. Fr. Juan will continue having Saturday morning adoration during Deacon Neal's recovery time.
