Hello, St. Clement parishioners & friends!
There’s a funny sort of irony about “Spring Forward” happening on the first weekend of Lent! Remember to set your clocks ahead before you retire for the night on Saturday!
With Lent now underway, the parish has several opportunities to sojourn together on the path to Christ’s passion, death, and resurrection.
- Beginning this evening, Stations of the Cross will be prayed on the Fridays of Lent at 6:30pm in English and 7:30pm in Spanish. Between these, various parish groups will provide Lenten dinners in the Marian Center.
- Reconciliation opportunities abound. Weekly confession times are 4pm Saturdays, 7pm Thursdays, and by appointment. The parish penance service is scheduled for Tues 8 Apr at 6:30pm.
- Eucharistic Adoration is held on Saturday mornings from 8 to 9am and on Thursday evenings from 7 to 8pm as well as for a few minutes after each Mass on the first weekend of the month.
- Dr. Karlo Broussard will return to St. Clement to present his talk “O Death Where is Thy Sting?" A defense to Jesus’ Resurrection from the Dead at 6:30pm in the church on Wed 2 Apr.

Please keep in your prayers all those who are preparing to come into full communion with the Church at Easter. Those from our parish will be going to the Rite of Election at Holy Family Cathedral on Sunday 16 Mar. Please also pray for our young people receiving First Holy Communion, not to mention the catechists and loved ones accompanying all these who will be receiving sacraments soon!

Go Life Mobile Baby Bottle Campaign
We are asking each family to take a baby bottle home, fill it with your spare change, cash or checks, and bring it back within the two following weekends! Go Life is a pro-life organization that helps women in unplanned pregnancies.

Faith & Works Annual Appeal
It’s not too late to turn in your pledge cards for the Faith & Works Annual Appeal. Feel free to drop those in the collection basket this weekend. Whether you’ve given in the past, or you’d be a first-time giver, we ask that you give prayerful consideration to donating this year. Our church family is much bigger than our parish. It’s really up to all of us to help provide the 78 parishes and two missions in Eastern Oklahoma including St. Clement with the services and ministry resources that no single parish could provide for itself. It’s also important to remember that many of these services we benefit from throughout the year. Click here to learn more about how the funds are used.

- The next stop on the Jubilee Year of Hope pilgrimage will be Sat 5 Apr at 10am at St. John University Parish in Stillwater. The theme is Health Care Workers – Sick & Suffering.
